5/4 Portraits of Humanity
5/4 Portraits of Humanity is an experimental portrait series exploring the nature of human connection and transformation. Each session begins with a conversation guided by five questions — private prompts that will never be published. The intention is to create a space of openness and presence between photographer and subject.
Four portraits are captured in sequence: one before the conversation, two during, and one after. What emerges is a subtle yet tangible shift — a change in the space between connection and image-making, from the start of the conversation to its conclusion. This transformation, often quiet, is present every time.
Ultimately, the project is a study of human presence and relational depth — a visual inquiry into what it means to be human, to connect, and to exist in the moment.
An ongoing study
During the sessions I ask 5 questions, these are always the same - the answers to the questions will never be published. The purpose is only held within the act of human connection.
